5 su bardağı şeker
3 bardak su
1 adet limon tuzu
5 bardak şeker 3 bardak su ile koyulaşana kadar kaynatılır. Tepsi sıvı yağ ile yağlanır ve koyu kıvamlı şerbet dökülüp atılaşana kadar bekletilir. 1 buçuk kilo un yağsız bir şekilde kokusu çıkana kadar kavrulur. Kavrulan un büyük bir tepsiye elenir. Ağdalaşan şeker tepsiden sıyrılır ve elde toparlanıp halka şekli verilir. Unun üzerine yerleştirilir, unla birlikte tel tel olana kadar üç koldan çevrilir. Tel tel ayrılan helva servis tabağına alınır.
